I'm saddened reading this, but Eileen leaves me with nothing but happy memories of a gracious friend. On many visits, with or without my dogs, there always seemed time for a chat over a cuppa. I was always made to feel welcome. My thoughts and prayers are with Eileen's family and friends.

A very sad day for all of us. This remarkable lady was the pinacle of a caring person together with her loyal staff. On occasion she would invite one to tea in her home.God bless you and rest in peace. Amen 😇

Oh that is such sad news. One of my first jobs was working there as a teenager in the early 1980's. Eileen was always so caring and passionate about looking after peoples treasured pets. There used to be Valentine the goose (he was nasty pastie) that lived there, a Donkey and a Sheep. I used to watch Elsie trimming the dogs which inspired me to learn the trade too. Her husband Bert used to look after any repairs and maintain the kennels. Last but by no means least Ken, who has also been there forever. We have also been bringing our Springer Spaniel there for the past 4 years too. Eileen was a legend in her own time, R.I.P. lovely lady 😢 xx

Really sad news. Such a great kennels and cattery, her personality shone through the place. My cats past and present wave a paw of gratitude to a great lady. Xx

Such a lovely lady. Will be so sadly missed... I spent many happy years working at Blue Grass animal hotel, where Eileen became a dear friend. Thinking of all the family and kenn at this heartfelt time. Sleep tight with the angels Eileen. Xxxx

That’s awful news. She took special interest and such compassion in Wilton our beloved 💙🐶 boy when he came to the end of his little life.Blue Grass is a unique place and I’m glad to have known this elegant lady x

Such sad news. Our love and thoughts go to Eileen’s family and to her wonderful team at Blue Grass. She was a wonderful lady. Xx

So sad for your loss. I used to play at the kennels (my name was Hayes) with her daughter and 2 other girls, Jennifer bracegirdle & gwyneth Williamson. Jennifer lived at the farm at the top of the lane from the kennels and gwyneth at the post office and I lived on Ash House lane. I recall ballet dancing was one of the things mostly on the play list. That takes me back.

So very sorry to hear this news, Eileen was thought very highly of by all of our team- past and present who have had the pleasure of working for her. Sleep tight Eileen, and all our love to her dear family and friends at this time. Melanie, Alaster and everyone at Evergreen Cheshire

Rest easy Eileen, you gave my mum Joan a job when she needed it and she always enjoyed working for you and counted you as a dear friend and she will miss you xx

Rest in peace Eileen , god bless , we will say goodbye when you pass us at the top of the lane , sweet dreams xxxx

Devastating news, Elieen was such an amazing lady and it been a pleasure working at Blue Grass, I will miss Elieen so much.

Eileen gave me my first job as Bellboy at Bluegrass, I had to wear the blue uniform, hat and white gloves and carry the pets luggage to their accommodation. I loved that job when I was 14 and her house always had an air of a special place that the staff didn’t go. RIP, such a sad day, my thoughts are with her family.
